The following is a list of local organizations who have worked with or are willing to work with FYCS students who are in need of a practicum site. There is a contact person for most of the organizations as well as a website in which you can find more information about the mission and goals of each program.

The Protective Investigations Unit works with allegations of child abuse and neglect in order to determine if removal of the child is needed. The student will have the opportunity to conduct field investigations with an actual investigator and refer clients to various services designed to assist their parenting skills.

A juvenile restitution program which serves as a liaison to victims of juvenile crime in order to increase the amount of restitution being paid to victims. Student assisted with updating information on youth offenders, inputting data into SPSS and attending juvenile court.
