ACORN Medical Clinic (Alachua County Organization for Rural Needs) 352-485-1133 352-485-2772	Provide primary, preventive, low cost health services to rural, indigent families through the use of volunteer health care professionals.
Alachua Habitat for Humanity 378-4663 National Habitat for Humanity	Assist in the site development and building of houses for low income families, assist with office work and mailings, and serve on various family and community committees.
Bread of the Mighty Food Bank, Inc. 336-0839	Volunteer to glean (inspect for defects or spoilage) donated food, assist with the distribution of food to low income families
Children's Home Society of Florida 334-0955	Co-facilitate parent support groups and parent education classes, participate in family mentor program, research available resources in community and facilitate access, provide support services to families, facilitate child groups in connection with parent support groups.
Family Visitation Center 334-0880	Supervising visits between children and their parents when the courts have ordered no child/parent contact without appropriate supervision. Will intervene when necessary if parents act inappropriate or break rules of visitation.
City of Gainesville's Housing Division 334-5026	Assist low income families in housing and rental rehabilitation, emergency repairs, house recycling programs, SHIP down payment assistance.
Community Outreach Partnership Center (COPC) 392-5957	Develop educational programs for working poor, assist staff in enhancing computer skills, assist in logistical support for program implementation, develop programs for youth and children.
Corner Drug Store 334-3812	Interview clients, role playing, participate as co-leader of groups, work with family members and children of substance abuse clients, HIV prevention, develop educational and vocational training opportunities.
Department of Children and Families 955-3263	The Protective Investigations Unit works with allegations of child abuse and neglect in order to determine if removal of the child is needed. The student will have the opportunity to conduct field investigations with an actual investigator and refer clients to various services designed to assist their parenting skills.
March of Dimes 378-9522	Family/Community Development - promotional campaign for WalkAmerica, March of Dimes largest fundraiser; coordinating promoting and delivering prenatal health education programs; setting up and manning local health fairs; developing public health information display materials, including boards, banners, pamphlets and newsletters; assist in implementation of 3 year, $10 million national Folic Acid Campaign; assist in March of Dimes community grant process; inventory, order and distribute health education materials
Planned Parenthood of North Central Florida 376-9000	Community outreach through condom distribution and participation at health fairs and information booths, administrative work through completing surveys and order forms.
